Ruben Baca is a Texas folk poet and musician. His verses blend storytelling with raw emotion. Rooted in a life of constant movement across the Southwest, he draws from years spent living on the margins, learning survival, and finding beauty in transience. Experienced with a cello, death-metal bass, and folk harmonica, he crafts a voice that is both timeworn and unmistakably his own.
Ruben has played such notable venues as The Whisky A GoGo, Lea County Event Center and Zia Park Casino and has been published in Rabid Oak Press, Z Publishing and Focus on Lea County.
